• often blended with Merlot and Cabernet Franc
• can produce single varietal high quality wines in warm areas like Chile and north California

• 新世界的果味通常比較濃厚,黑櫻桃,甘草,黑胡椒混合,還會有點香草風味。相對於舊世界,新世界的單寧和酸度會較低,但酒精濃度較高 。
